The refined Ecuador National single origin cocoa meets fresh delicate flavor of Ciaculli' late mandarin. So our bar borns: made entirely by hand, from processing to final packaging.
Ciaculli was borns in 1940 in Siciliy, from a spontaneous mutation. Its name comes from the fact that matures later than other mandarins, from January to March. It stands out for its very few seeds, sweetness and its juicy.
The late mandarin was born and raised in the Conca D'oro, a level ground that, until the middle of the last century, it was one big garden around the city of Palermo: a magical and fruitful landscape, which wrote poets and travelers, meeting place of cultures and civilizations. Although, in recent 50 years farmlands, have been drastically reduced , the late mandarin,  that has been inserted in the Slow food foundation, today is the most prestigious production consortium that brings together 65 small farmers.
